ICCV 2019

At ICCV 2019, Clova AI had a remarkable performance in research. Four papers have been accepted to ICCV 2019. NAVER Corporation and Clova AI made many efforts to prepare for the conference.

First, Clova AI hosted the ICCV Paper Day event. Nearly 20 Korean authors and 100 student researchers were invited to the event. The event served as a forum for state-of-the-art technology sharing and exchange. The event consisted of oral presentation and aperitivo sessions.

Before the conference, NAVER ran outdoor welcome advertising to promote itself and celebrate the commencement of ICCV2019 in South Korea.

Numerous visitors had a chance to try the new demos at the NAVER booth. The demos include the commerce AI of NAVER shopping, Japanese restaurant search database, CONOMI, AiCall, Naver Maps, 180° 3D VR technology of V live, AI-based automatic smart coloring and contrast adjustment of NAVER Webtoon, and live 3D avatar creation of Clova AI Video.

Impressive demos at the booth and state-of-the-art technologies of Clova AI attracted many crowds to the venue. Many renowned scholars and researchers, such as Professor Dennis Hong (UCLA), Professor Sanja Fidler (University of Toronto), and Ming-Yu Liu (NVIDIA Research) visited the NAVER booth and presented themselves at the Clova AI’s poster presentation sites, as well.
